May and June have been incredibly busy for the whole team at Riviera Mortgages. This has included: mortgage applications and completions; protection for families; trusts. Every time a client’s circumstances change, we reassess their insurance needs to protect their assets.
The Torbay Airshow was a great success, as it is every year, the team thoroughly enjoyed this event with their families and friends.
Colin has been in Cornwall with his family, body boarding and ventured down the tin mines.
Sarah has been camping with friends and family with several more planned throughout the South West this year.
Amy is off to Turkey in a couple of week’s with her Mum, this is their fifth year visiting the same resort for sun and relaxation.
Karen has been to see Take That; learnt to plough and roll fields with a tractor – her method was described as ‘slow but precise’; two days at Alton Towers for Karen’s birthday and then next week she is off to see Pink in Cardiff.
Kevin recently attended a pig racing event at Stoke Gabriel FC to raise funds for the floodlights. He said it was like having Duracell Bunnies racing, but in the shape of pigs! He also attended the Peninsula League Presentation where he collected the league trophy for Stoke Gabriel FC. Kev is still regularly attending the gym at the crack of dawn before coming to the office. He will also be helping as a Marshall for Torbay Half Marathon in a couple of weeks and also for the City 2 Sea event in September.
As the main sponsor for the Riviera Netball League, we attended and presented the team awards on 22nd May. Sarah and Amy had great fun and it was wonderful to see so many people involved in the sport.
Colin manages the Torquay Academy Sports Under 11’s (Blues) football team and the award ceremony is being held at the Riviera Centre on Saturday 15th June. Colin is presenting the five awards: Manager’s Player; Player’s player; Supporter’s Player; Fair Play Award and Most Improved Player.
To keep ahead of compliance procedures, the team at Riviera Mortgages are completing a two day training course with PRIMIS. The office will be closed during the two days on 27th & 28th June therefore please be aware that we will be unable to respond to any enquiries until Monday 1st July.
