News from the Riviera Mortages Team – August

Well, we’re not sure what’s happened to the warm weather this week, but here at Riviera Mortgages, the team have been busy making the most of the Summer Holidays and the events taking place.

The Walnut Road Street Party went ahead despite the weather and high winds. It was a tremendous success and raised in the region of £2,000 for Rowcroft Hospice. An amazing amount, our thanks to our Neighbours Roy and Penny at the Post Office, who spend months organising this event for the community.

Now back, Colin is currently planning a Hollywood Party and has been busy creating his Karate Kid outfit, we are looking forward to seeing the photos!

Amy had a great time in Turkey and came back with a lovely suntan. She enjoyed celebrating her birthday in July and is making plans to go travelling later this year.

Kevin continues to run but has taken a couple or tumbles whilst out training in recent weeks. We wonder if he is taking a detour past the pub for a swift half and are teasing him about attaching a pair of stabilisers! He will be helping with marshalling at the City 2 Sea Marathon for THHN on 7th September.

We are planning to take part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 27th September. We will be baking and providing coffee and cakes in the office from 10am – 2pm and hope you will pop along to enjoy some of our delicious home-made treats. As we are a small team, we would also be very grateful if anybody would like to bake a cake for this event.

As the Summer progresses, many of you are now settled into your new homes and others are just thinking about a move or an investment property. We continue to seek out the best products to meet your needs, whilst still making time for adventures with our families. Enjoy yourselves and we hope to catch up with you soon.
